(She/her/hers)
Ashley is a Marriage and Family Therapy Associate (#151841) currently pursuing her doctorate at Alliant International University. She received her Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and then obtained her Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from Alliant University. Her therapeutic approach is rooted in Symbolic Experiential Therapy and Collaborative Language Systems, blending creative, experiential techniques with a focus on how language and meaning shape personal and relational dynamics. She views the therapeutic relationship itself as elemental for change, fostering an environment where clients are witnessed, challenged, and empowered, often leaning into the messy, confusing, and contradictory nature of life. Ashley specializes in trauma, substance abuse, racially charged imposter syndrome, parents wounds, and domestic violence.
Ashley is working under the supervision of Dr. Ari Shahabaldiny.
"I believe therapy is a co-created space where curiosity, dialogue, and connection allow for intentional examination. I believe the therapeutic relationship is elemental for change, as it fosters an environment where clients are witnessed, challenged, and empowered. As a therapist, I invite my clients to lean into the messy, confusing, and often contradictory experiences that mold reality."
